Fragment from the south western section of a mosaic floor showing swastika meander and guilloche design. This design formed the frame and extended along the entire length of the mosaic floor. Originally the fragment was part of a much larger floor from a Roman villa in Medbourne in Leicestershire and it was known to antiquarians in 1793 and 1801. In 1877 the mosaic was fully exposed by by Frederick Peake and Henry A. Dibbin, the civil engineer from the London and North Western Railway Company.
