Mould

Reddish-brown pottery mould used for the manufacture of small faience objects with the throne name of King Akhenaten: Neferkheprure, Waenre ('The beautiful one of the manifestations of Ra, the unique one of Ra'). CONDITION NOTE (1998): Surface dirt, discoloured, chipped, label adhered to surface [not there 17.2.21]. Most likely to be from Tell el Amarna. Possibly acquired at Sotheby's 11 November 1924.
