Pottery mould for making faience shabti figures. The mould is the perfect fit for Dynasty 30/early Ptolemaic shabtis Petrie excavated at Abydos North Cemeteries, Cemetery G, tomb number G50 (e.g., 16.9.02.23f and 56.22.391). The mould was collected by Rev. William Frankland Hood on one of his visits to Egypt between 1851 - 1861.
CONDITION NOTE (1998): Chipped , pitted, surface dirt.
