Mould

Brownish-red pottery mould used for the manufacture of small faience objects in the shape of a daisy. A white substance is still visible in the design cavity. A string impression is also visible on the out edge of the mould. Flat back to mould. Compare with W M Flinders Petrie, Tell el-Amarna (London, 1894), plate. XVIII. no. 428
