Mould

Brownish-red pottery mould used for the manufacture of small faience objects in the shape of a daisy. A few spots of white paste is visible suggesting it may have been used. A string impression is also visible around the outer edge of the mould. Irregular flat back to mould. Compare with W M Flinders Petrie, Tell el-Amarna (London, 1894), plate. XVIII. no. 435.
