Reddish-brown pottery mould used for the manufacture of small faience objects with names within cartouches. One of the names is an early version of the name of the Aten 'May Re' live, Horus-of-the-Horizon in his name 'Shu who is Aten' . White paste is still visible in and around the mould cavity. A string impression is visible on the left and right hand side of the cartouches. Rounded back to mould. Compare with W M Flinders Petrie, Tell el-Amarna (London, 1894), plate XIV no. 70.
