Mountain Solitude

Cadenhead was a resident in Edinburgh from 1891. He trained at the Royal Scottish Academy, and later in Paris under the French painter Carlous Duran (1837 - 1917). He was elected Associate of the Royal Scottish Academy in 1902 where he exhibited from 1880 and he was a Member of the Royal Scottish Watercolour Society in 1893. He also exhibited at the Liverpool Autumn Exhibition from 1882.
