Miss Josephine Gilstrap of Nottinghamshire donated money to the British School of Archaeology in Egypt between 1900 and 1910. She was given a share of the excavated finds from a range of archaeological sites in return for the funding she provided. This included three mummified animals recorded as being from W. M. F. Petrie's excavations at Kafr Amar (Tarkhan).
