Mummified falcon or kestrel. Upper part unwrapped with traces of gilding, perhaps from a mask. Accompanied by a photograph of an X-Ray. Donated to Norwich Castle Museum by J. H. Walter 7 April 1897, said to have been collected at Deir el Bahri. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Some bindings missing, damage to tail, head exposed, remnants of gold.
