Purchased at Sotheby's, London, 22 October 1934 (Mansoor Abd Essayid collection) Lot 145/31 "Two Masks; four Collars; a Winged Nut; a winged Scarabaeus; eight Figures of funerary Deities; eight Fragments of Bands; and five Sandals, in cartonnage painted and gilt". Back of two fragments marked in pencil 5.12.6 written over 2 circled.

Also compare with a much earlier  Middle Kingdom model collar of Hapiankhtifi (c. 1981-1802 BC) Metropolitan Museum of Art no. 12.183.16.
