Mummy Covering

Inscribed band from a cartonnage covering placed over the legs of a mummy. Compare with Michael C. Carlos Museum accession no. 2018.010.639. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Incomplete, in two pieces, chipped surface, some surface loss, sellotape on back, surface dirt. Wellcome Historical Medical Museum accession no. 2437xx.
