Mummy Shroud

Piece of painted linen cloth, painted in black, red, yellow and pink to imitate the stuccoed or bead decoration of a mummy. On pectoral portion of the winged disc with uraei, and two hawks with discs on heads. Below nine curved rows of pedestal design. Torn and frayed preservation. Fine technique.
