Fragment of a mummy shroud painted with spells from the Book of the Dead. This fragment has red and black hieroglyphs, giving part of Chapter 125B, the 'negative confession' where the deceased declares innocence of one sin in turn before each of forty-two assessors. There are six fragments from the collection of Dr James Andrew Sandilands Grant that appear to be from the same funerary shround: nos 55.82.99K, 55.82.99L, 55.82.99O, 55.82.99P, 55.82.99Q. and 55.82.99R. Compare with an 18th Dynasty shround in the British Musuem no. EA 73806.
