Mycenean stirrup jar with linear decoration. Two handles and a spout., red bands on buff slip. Dates to Late Helladic IIIb, contemporary with the early New Kingdom. Recorded as being "found in a tomb" in Egypt, from the collection of Joseph Sams.
CONDITION NOTE 1998: Previous repair, large area of fill on base, chipped surface, scratched, surface dirt.
