Information

Large snake with large flattened head, the neck can be extended laterally to form a distinct hood if the snake is disturbed. Colour extremely variable, may be brown, olive-grey, yellowish or black with or without crossbars or spots, neck often has a characteristic pattern that may resemble a pair of spectacles. Length up to 2.3 m.
