Naturalistic Scarab

Originally pale blue/green glazed faience scarab of naturalistic style, with beetle-formed underside. There is a perforated loop on the underside for threading. Chipped on one end and only a trace of glaze remaining. Bequest of Sir H. Rider Haggard, 1925.
