Necklace

Necklace of resin beads originally threaded on red silk cord. Coarse greay fiable material which may be resin or clay. 29 beads of various shapes: 12 squares; 10 six-petal rosettes; five melon shapes; one piriform and one spacer. Originally threaded on red silk cord. Has been rearranged in its time within the museum. There is a photograph on back of accession card from about 1947. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Slightly chipped on some beads, very worn, discoloured, surface dirt
