Newstead Abbey

Newstead Abbey, originally an Augustinian priory, is now best known as the ancestral home of Lord Byron. An engraving of this work, by E. Finden, is published in "Finden's Illustrations of the Life and Works of Lord Byron, etc., 1833-4," published in February 1832 by J. Murray and sold by C. Tilt, 86 Fleet Street. The inscription on this etching says "Drawn by W. Westall A.R.A. from a sketch by E. Fellows Esq."
