Nigella sativa seeds. Collected at the pyramid town of Lahun by W. M. Flinders Petrie, 1889-90. Kept within a glass test tube with cork stopper. Annotation in black in on a piece of paper kept inside the tube by Percy Newberry: "Nigella sativa Kahun XII". CONDITION NOTE 1998: Fragmenting. Dimensions are for the container.
