Nummulite

One of three nummulites collected at the "pyramids Egypt" by Rev. Robert Gamson of St Matthew's Church, Normanton-upon-Trent, Nottinghamshire. Presented to Whitehaven Museum by Dr. B. Smith and subsequently donated to World Museum in 1984. CONDITION NOTE 1998: Chipped, pitted, surface dirt, concretions.
