Octagonal altar vase with stand
Octagonal altar vase with body of globular form, with sharply contracted shoulders, short neck and spreading mouth, and dome-shaped cover with handle in the form of a flower. Four scroll feet with acanthus leaf moulding, and two upright handles of a scroll design, moulded with foliage and flowers. On the sides, designs in cloisonné enamel in a turquoise ground; lotus arabesques, enclosed by archaic fret borders. On the lid are similar fret patterns with four open-work medallions of archaic dragon pattern in metal.
