Cylindrical jar with a flaring rim. Jars shaped like this were used to store perfumed ointments and unguents. Carved from Egyptian alabaster with a band of colour running around bottom of the jar. Compare with W. M. F. Petrie, Stone and Metal Vases (London, 1937) no.  112.
