Old Couple Walking

This sketch by Emma M Boyd was for a Liverpool Autumn Exhibition catalogue illustration. There is an oil version of this drawing with the title 'To the Workhouse', painted in 1891 and executed while Boyd and her husband, Arthur Merric Boyd (1862 - 1940), were staying in London. That work is now in the collection of the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne, Australia.
