Information

Frontal bones from a goat or other livestock animal (e.g., cattle, sheep or gazelle). Decorated with patches of red and black paint. From a Pan-Grave tradition burial at Armant, marked by the excavator in pencil "A". Previously in the collections of the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum, accession number 153502: "BONE. Animal, painted with red and black spots. (Marked "C"). 9" x 71/4". Egyptian Exploration Society". CONDITION NOTE 1998: Incomplete, previous repairs, cracking, dry, surface dirt.
