Information

Buff-coloured ware with painted concentric circles in dull red paint. Ovoid shaped vessel with two lug handles on the outermost shoulder (one missing). Dimension of the mouth is 57 mm. One of the previous owners, Amy Urlin, assisted W. M. F. Petrie on his excavation of the cemetery at Abydos in 1901, which may have been the source of this object. Compare shape with W. M. F.
