Painted Jar

Buff fabric jar painted with red wavy lines around the outside. Two small loop handles on the side with flat everted rim. Flat base. Previosuly recorded as being from "Palestine 3000 - 2500 BC" but this may be because the collector, Mr Timperley, purchased a collection of items exhibited at a "Palestine exhibition" in London which also featured many Egyptian items.
