Pan
29.3.98.59
Information
Large, cast and beaten pan with slightly convex base, angular, tapered walls, very slightly everted, thin rim. Wide handle has ridges on the upper edges that continue the line of the rim, flares to rhomboid plate near the end, curving backward and tapered to form a simple suspension hook. Chipped on body, handle tip. In the corrosion products on the inside surface are three distinct stains, as if left by metal objects that stood inside the pan when it was in the tomb.
