Flat panel carved with a shell motif set in a plain rectangular frame. Holes in the top left corner and bottom right hand corner. It no doubt stood above the head of a consul or other elevated figure. Wellcome Historical Medical Museum accession number 15656. Purchased at Sotheby's, London, 17 December 1934 Lot 145.
