Carved wooden panel of box decorated with carving of a dove and olive branch. Trace of colour. White label with ornate blue border stuck to the surface, annotated in pencil: “488 R“, similar to other examples from the de Rustafjaell collection. Perhaps trace of red writing too. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Labels adhered, holed, surface loss, surface dirt.
