Four silver gelatin prints by Stewart Bale Ltd., taped together to form a panoramic view of bomb damage in Bootle, Merseyside, 1941. Civilians gather to inspect devastation to homes and businesses. Each print has Bale wet stamp, as well as a stamp reading 'Passed for Record purposes by the WESTERN COMMAND under Control of Photography order no. 1. 1939. Permit No. D.R. 095023 held by STEWART BALE'.
