Papers relating to the sinking of Lusitania, Cunard, and crew member Henry Christian, cabin steward.

Henry Christian [25 Oct 1855 - May 1915], 2nd class cabin steward, died in the sinking. Age according to the crew list was 48 [he was 59] and he was listed as K Christian. Letter from Cunard confirming name is on crew list but has not survived. Death certificate for body of seafarer not found. Compensation document - £125 to Henry's daughters - Katie Redfern [nee Christian, born 1877] and Leah May Christian [born 1895], their mother, Henry's wife, Katie Christian predeceased him, died in 1906 aged 49.
