Papyrus Column Shaft

Model of a papyrus column. Objects of this type are usually dated to the Late Perior or later. This comes from tomb 360 A'07 (or in this immediate area) along with artefatcs that would seem to cover a range of dates: Middle Kingdom, Second Intermediate Period and New Kingdom. This suggests 360 A'07 was a disturbed burial context containing a mixture of material from different dates.
