A polished pebble stone probably used in conjunction with a palette for grinding eye-paint. Marked 376 in black ink indicating the grave where the object was found. From W. M. Flinders Petrie's excavations at Naqada for the Egyptian Research Account. Revd. William Macgregor's collection number 1761 printed in red on a small white label stuck to the surface.
