Information

Small bulla-like, hollow pendant vase constructed from two sheets of gold (joined at the centre) is a hemisphere, now somewhat flattened, with a stamped dimple at the bottom. The narrow suspension ring affixed at the top is made from a strip of gold rather than wire. A noticeable raised at the centre attests to standard Archaic techniques, in which the piece was slightly melted during construction. There is no indication that this could have held perfume.
