Personal Mirror

Bronze mirror with tang. Very much corroded. From grave 14, which the excavator, W. M. Flinders Petrie, dated to the Fifth Dynasty. The depth of 13 mm includes large mass of pale coloured deposition. Thinest section is 3 mm. CONDITION NOTE (1998): Highly corroded, fresh corrosion, concretions. From the Egypt Exploration Fund 1897 excavations at Deshasheh.
