Black leather-bound snapshot album compiled and annotated by Dr. Robert Thomas Adam (1885-1917), ship's surgeon on vessels S.S. "Pretorian", S.S. "Agamemnon", S.S. "Prometheus". Photographs document Dr. Adam's family in Lindsay, Ontario, Canada; time spent convalescing at the Muskoka Free Hospital for Consumptives; sea journies to Australia, Japan, China, Suez Canal, etc. Of particular interest are annotated images of Blue Funnel crew members (including Chinese sailors) and cargo loading.
