Colour transparency. Renovation of Albert Dock, Liverpool, Block C, Tate Liverpool, interior. Ground floor gallery with wrapped paintings leaning against the walls; preparation for the hang of one of the Tate's inaugural opening exhibitions, Surrealism, in 1988. Features light fittings made in Hamburg, Germany, designed by James Stirling (architect responsible for the original Tate conversion).
