Photograph of Atlantic Conveyor, Cunard Line, bow view, no date, c.1982. The vessel was requisitioned for service in the Falklands War. Captain North 3rd from left, he was killed along with 11 other crew members when the vessel was hit by torpedoes on 25 May 1982. The vessel sunk under tow on 28 May 1982.
