Colour transparency. Renovation of Albert Dock, Liverpool, Block D, later Merseyside Maritime Museum, exterior, fourth floor west corner. After demolition of cold storage slated roof structure addition to the west end of Block D on fourth floor, from when it was adapted as a cold store 1899, a new roof was needed which took the form of a steel portal frame. Portal frames being craned in. Scaffolding. Workmen in view. St. John's beacon to left, top of pump house centre and Queen Elizabeth II Law Courts to right .
