Renovation of Albert Dock, Liverpool, Block D, later Merseyside Maritime Museum, exterior, roof looking west along north elevation with stainless steel cleats pop riveted through roofing felt to wrought iron roof plates beneath, prior to cork insulation being laid, in position on north east corner of roof. Beyond on north west corner cork insulation being installed. At ground level, in bay between the two roofs is where later main entrance to the museum is placed. Section of east elevation of Block C, later Tate Liverpool to left and Pier Master's House, centre, with roof slates removed. View across the River Mersey towards Birkenhead with shipping.
