"Harrison liner - twin S.S. 'Wayfarer', Capt. E. Maycock, at Galveston, Texas, Dec 7th 1918. War camouflaged painting to disguise ships & direction being steered. Ship 'Dressed for Britain Day' to celebrate 'Declaration of Peace' which we received at sea 2am Nov 12th by wireless when bound to Philadelphia, & then altered to Galveston. Ship's gross tonnage 9599 tons. Net 6221. Length 525 overall. Total cargo capacity weight 14570 tons".
