Four black & white original photographic prints. Three prints of steam barge 'Sunlight' in dry dock, possibly Birkenhead, location unknown, feature portside damage to hull and deck: -1 is bow foremost along portside length; -2 is stern foremost, along portside length; -3 portside detail of damage. Date inscribed on all images: 29/01/1915, on all verso photographer's wet stamp: 'R. M. Morris/ Photographer / 160 Conway Street, Birkenhead'. One print, -4 of a view across the deck of a ship, looking over Canning Dock, Liverpool, towards Mersey Docks and Harbour Board offices, Cunard Building and Royal Liver Building, also lots of warehouses since demolished, large hooks in foreground on ship's deck and Pilot No.2 ship to left, likely to be 'Walter J. Chambers'. The hooks are likely to be for loading and unloading cargo, possibly logs or pipes. c1920s. Photographer's wet stamp, verso, 'R. & H. Robbins, Ltd., / The Photo Works, / 39 Dale Street, / Liverpool'. All approximately 8"x6".
