Photograph album of cruises of Arandora Star, Blue Star Line, showing scenes of countries visited and crew and passengers. Belonged to Captain Edgar Wallace Moulton (1886-1940), who died when ship sank 2nd July 1940. Over 30 pages and 131 photos, some photographs have been removed. Made by or for Captain Moulton, unclear who took the photographs, around 1935 according to one dated image. Also a monographed photocase, marked E.W.M holding image of Moulton's wife, Priscilla nee Selfe, born 1888 in nurses uniform and eldest daugher Elizabeth, born 1920. See also DX/2688. Album includes images of the vessel in various ports, some images of crew and passengers (including in fancy dress, on deck, Girl Guides) and tourist images of life in the locations visited. Places include Panama Canal (vessel passing through), Hawaii, Los Angeles, Mexico.
