Phyllurus cornutus (Ogilby, 1892)



Lizard with large, flat, triangular head, flattened body with broad leaf or shield-shaped tail with spiny tip. The sides of the head, neck, flanks and upper surface of the tail are covered with long, spiny, pointed scales. Back is olive-green or brownish with occasional large black-bordered pale blotches, head, flanks and legs are streaked, belly whitish. Total length 16-25 cm.
