Sample of dried yellow paint scraped from the inside of a pot found at Amarna. It is what the collector Flaxman Spurell referred to as 'prepared paints' and numbered it B', in reference to his 1895 experiments with colours from ancient Egypt. Displayed within an acrylic cube.
