Pigment

Fragment of a tile or kiln (?) with flat sides, one with a layer of blue pigment, the other grey/white. Marked in pencil "Amarna". Previously mounted on a display board by Flaxman Spurrell, with a handwritten label on the back, "Tile of pottery coloured with thick layer of blue frit and fired with an unsatisfactory effect. Tel El Amarna. XVIII Dynasty".
