Described by Flaxman Spurrell as "lamp black" in reference to his 1895 experiments with colours from ancient Egypt. Sealed within two circular concave pieces of glass (watch glass) with a paper label annotated MEDUM NEFERMAT D. IV. Malachite Paste”.
