Pilgrim Flask

Pottery pilgrim flask with frilled lip. Same design on both sides of a man with a horned bovine and a small child below the animal. Greek inscription TOHΛ.ΛHΛH below the main scene on both sides. Purchased for the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum at Stevens's Auction Rooms, London, 22-23 January 1929.
