Anatomical votive model: eye plaque. Approximately life-size, slightly curved plaque, almond-shaped with a human eye in schematic relief at centre (corner rounded); moulded depression for eye socket with thick almond-shaped lids, iris and pupil indicated in relief. Back smooth, convex. Dull orange clay with abundant black grit and flakes of mica. Eye plaques were very common offerings in votive deposits of central Italian (both Etruscan and Italic) sanctuaries.
