Plaque Amulet (Forgery)

Glazed steatite plaque with a cartouche in relief on one side and on the other a standing figure and a column of hieroglyphs. One of four plaque amulet forgeries purchased by Florence Nightingale when she was 29 and visitng Egypt in the winter of 1849-50.
